Some famous Asian violin player. Cant remember his name but he ate the baked potato skin plain and left the inside part.

Gene Shephard, the narrator from Christmas Story. Annoying as hell because that was his natural voice. Good dude, but damn after watching the movie it made casual conversation annoying.

These are serious answers, even if they seem like they are not.

Personal "tour guide" in Rio - Amazing young lady who spoke at least five languages.

Cab Driver in Izmir Turkey - Not lunch, but my shipmate and I talked him into taking us to a local place one late night in Turkey. We had an amazing experience at a late-night cafeteria type place for the cost of a USS Stout Zippo lighter. edit-to-add: The cab driver shut down for the night and hung out with us until dawn.

Shared a sandwich with Humpty Dumpty in Naples, Italy one afternoon.

I could go on, but I already listed more than one. I have been fortunate to enjoy conversations with a wide variety of people in many places over the years. Poor, rich, accomplished, highly intelligent, you name it.

It has been a good trip. :)

Don’t know about lunch, but had a beer (along with about 6 other people) at a country pub in England with Jimmy Page in , I think 2014,. Turns out it was his local and his estate was basically adjacent. I was staying at the pub.

Also multiple beers with Joe Strummer of The Clash after a concert in Pontiac Michigan in 1982. Just pure luck. Staying at same hotel as the band and they were at the hotel bar. Actually talked to him a lot for about an hour.
