Most surprising NFL team so far?

3-0 Dolphins
3-0 Chiefs
0-3 NY Giants?
0-3 Redskins?

Something else? I think I'm going to say the 3-0 Chiefs.

I want to write in my vote for the Saints defense. To go from the worst D in the history of the NFL to what you this year has to be one of the biggest surprises out there.

From your list, I'll take the dolphins.

Not a bad choice. The Redskins are actually on pass to give up more yards and points than the Saints did last year.

Saints aren't that surprising. A solid percent of beat writers were picking the Saints to win the division before the season started. As far as their defense improving... how could they have gotten any worse?

Chiefs? Come on... Andy Reid hooking up with a solid roster AND one of the most efficient QB's in the game? Doesn't surprise me either.

Redskins? The D is shocking, but the possibility of having a lackluster O was something a lot of people were discussing with the return of RGIII.

I think a lot of people have been expecting the Steelers to collapse at some point soon. They're all just so old and they're missing their best/most valuable offensive lineman.

1-2 49ers, 1-2 Packers, 0-3 Giants, and 3-0 Dolphins are the most surprising for me. I picked the Bears to win the NFC North this year but I didn't think they'd start 3-0... so the Bears coaching staff is also a shocker. CFL might become the minor league system of NFL coaching staffs.

I'm going with Miami... but what about New England being 3-0 despite scoring only 20 ppg? Not biggest surprise since they've played 3 terrible offensive teams. But it is a bit of a surprise to be 3-0 while looking so bad offensively.

I'm loving Kansas City. Guess because I love to see guys succeed when given another chance. It's got to be gratifying for Reid & Smith to start 3-0 while their previous teams have gone 1-2.

Philadelphia, to a point

When the Eagles demolished the Redskins, I thought I was watching a Super Bowl team. They looked really good. And then they proceeded to lose the next two. Perhaps it's because the Skins are surprisingly bad.

Atlanta has also been a surprise. They've lost the last two.

The 2-1 Jets. I thought would be a train wreck coming into the season.

I'm not surprised by the Chiefs at all. KC had 9 pro bowlers last year on a 2 win team. I knew Andy Reid would be able to get that team turned around, especially with adding Alex Smith to the lineup.

Have to throw the Raiders in there

Damn near beat Indy on the road and last week doesn't matter because the Jags are terrible. Pryor has also looked better than expected

I hope the Pats keep it going next week and knock off ATL in ATL. That be huge for the Saints getting a 3 game lead over the Failcons.

I think it the chiefs by a mile. they play mistake free ball which is what smith did in SF to get them on their roll. They might be able to keep it up a little while.

I think the dolphins are just a confluence of events. but they are impressive nonetheless with the god awful team they have.

the giants are just funny. I love watching eli suck. hated that SOB ever since meeting him at the Neshoba county fair one year growing up.

The redskins make me sad though. really was hoping RG3 could come back and do wonderful things. Shanahan is being a stubborn dumbass for not putting Cousins in at this point. Cousins is a legit starter anywhere else and can run that offense well. but when asked at a press conference if cousins would play, shanahan laughed and said no. He deserves to lose
