Kirby probably did have some steadying influence on our team but I swear the way some of you talk about the guy now you would think he was black Jesus Stan Jones. Kirby was never a great leader or disciplinarian. This board used to joke about how awful Kirby was and how we beat Ole Miss once with an empty chair after Stansbury got tossed out.

Every single time someone leaves the MSU basketball program we elevate that person to demi-god status the second things start going bad. Am I the only person that saw that MMA cage match that occurred betweeen China and Georgetown under Kirby's watch last year?

We suck for about a million reasons but Kirby is probably less than 0.5% of it.
