"I always knew we had it in us and it was a matter of time for when it
was going to come out. Right now it's the perfect time to come out. We
need to be playing our best basketball at the end of the season. That's
what we're doing now."

Sounds like someone had a little talk with him to make sure he pumps that Stans Sunshine out to the press.. You all know we were underdogs on the road again...

MSU playing at it's Best has to got to OT to win vs a Horrible SC team..lol

I think he needed to do it for the sake of team chemistry. After badmouthing the team's effort and play to the media on Monday, he needed to pat the guys on the back after last night. If it creates a positive vibe with the other guys in the locker room, then that's what we need. Rick is going to be Rick. There's no getting around that. In order for us to give our best effort the guys on the team need to respect and play for each other.

Now I don't know what goes through a NBA coach or owner but maybe Moultrie relized that the NBA folks take note of what you say in public. I don't know if that matters or not but it's just a thought.

we just barely beat a 10-19 team who is 2-13 in the conference. I call ******** on playing our best basketball. We just didn't suck as bad as they did last night.

..so while I don't agree with Moultrie entirely, I have to agree with him to the extent the team that lost to UGA, LSU & Auburn would have quit last night after USC went ahead with time winding down in regulation.
