Pope Lick Bridge in Fisherville, passed that place many of times for years to my Aunt's place in Fisherville. Idiots die trying to cross the bridge and get far enough across and a train comes. So narrow, nothing to hold onto and the train knocks them off.

First day on the internet? NEWS FLASH: I did not post any pictures here in this thread so you're coming at the wrong guy. Get the right person before you go making accusations. I simply quoted another member here who posted a picture of the Pope Lick Bridge and told my story of passing that tressel many times for decades just 5 miles from my Aunt & deceased Uncle's house. I spent enough time in that location during daylight and night fall. Not gullible enough to believe the Pope Lick Monster or some sea dragon is real. I am not wrong about punks and dare devils trespassing across that bridge and dying once a train from the Norfolk Southern line crosses. Their is no side to hold onto because it's no narrow and they fall.

Cute, now playing the victim role.

Mature response

Probably would've been to much for your simpleminded brain to comprehend.

You're the one who accused me first of posting fake pictures and running with the narrative that people have no idea they aren't real. I never sought you out but you started **** quoting my post with those accusations and continue to feel like you're getting picked on now. Must think you're smarter than everyone else here.

Grade school insults. Must be your first day on the internet too.

I'll take it you'd know one that sucks when you see it given your expertise at it.

High jack threads much with ******** having nothing of relevance to the discussion?

U Mad Bro?

Maybe you should invest in a mirror. Trolls are out of hand on this board. Mods need to take out the trash.

You're still talking?

It's amazing the defense you all go to back up the trolling behavior here when some people just want to have a discussion yet know it all's got to put down anyone here they disagree with, belittle them and play the victim role like you were the one done wrong. It's uncalled for **** even had to get to this point people have to get into pissing wars because they have to prove everyone wrong. I've taken no stances that require a stance to prove any legitimacy yet the trolls are having a free for all. In 3 years here I have never started a pissing war or trolled anyone. I state my opinion and go, yet ******** will mock you thinking they're above board rules. If I see something silly or don't like from another poster, I let it go until they start **** with me. Don't act like you instigators have never taken part in anything before because I know for a fact seeing you all post all that time that's a lie.

Who gives a damn about you or your inflated sense of self-importance? You are the problem and coming on here with nothing but the intent to troll hijacking this thread.

Fifteen replies and none are about the topic of mountain lions.

Pardon me for trying to strike up a conversation with the guy who pictured the Pope Lick bridge being brought up in the discussion yet none of you go after them for a post not regarding a mountain lion. Selectively bait and target who you want.

As for the rest, I did not provoke the responses warranted as it came from trolls with no lives looking to start this.

Just giggling their little titties off behind the keyboard such as this one that has nothing to do with a mountain lion.

Waiting for you to tally up everyone else's post with nothing to do with a mountain lion but that just wouldn't fit your trollish agenda. It's not a first or last for you to target me.

I don't intend to discomfit my readers, but I do need to point out that Kywildcatsfannumber1 is more concerned with the social acceptability of an idea than with its truth or falsity. To begin with an illustrative case, Kywildcatsfannumber1 markets his mind games as helpful and entertaining. In reality, they're a a hellish nightmare from which we may never awaken.

I want nothing more—or less—than to launch an all-out ideological attack against the forces of fanaticism. To that task I have consecrated my life and I invite you to do likewise. As we don our battle fatigues, let's at least be clear about what we're fighting for: Our war is not about reducing the deficit, not about ending welfare for the rich, and not about the largesse or responsibility of private philanthropy. All we want is for Kywildcatsfannumber1's vicegerents not to form the association in the public's mind between any utterances Kywildcatsfannumber1 disagrees with and the ideas of hate and violence and illegality. The gloss that his allies put on his surmises unfortunately does little to improve the lot of humankind. Believe it or not, he has come extremely close to controlling Web content that he deems politically or morally objectionable. True story. Anyhow, Kywildcatsfannumber1 has been fostering a culture devoted to policing speech and punishing speakers. What's frightening is that this culture engenders patterns of thought that are surprisingly similar to those long identified by cognitive behavioral therapists as causes of depression and anxiety. I don't know about you, but I would prefer to live in a culture in which people are free to admit that Kywildcatsfannumber1's ideological colors may have changed over the years. Nevertheless, his core principle has remained the same: to trade facts for fantasy, truth for myths, academics for collective socialization, and individual thinking for group manipulation. If you don't believe me then note that seeing Kywildcatsfannumber1 succeed at jawboning aimlessly has left me with a number of unanswered questions—questions such as “Will his animal cunning, arrogance, greed, and self-aggrandizement grant him a final victory over humanity?” Kywildcatsfannumber1's fantastic tales of how pessimism has saved lives are as profitable for him as they are fictitious. And that's all I have to say.
Long, but well worth the read. Kudos.

There's been 5 sightings in my town in the last 2 weeks. Two were captured and relocated. We've had an occasional lion in town over the years, but this is getting ridiculous.

Idk about mountain lions, but I live right in the mountains and watched a presumed to be wolf cross the road a while back up to the woods. Twice the size of a large coyote.

About 13 years ago I saw a dead mountain lion on the shoulder of I-24 near Cadiz on the way to Nashville. I. ****. You. Not.
Interesting. I can believe it. Wide open country in this area. Live in the next county over, Todd Co. Kentucky.

Calm down dude. I just thought it was funny that you had several posts complaining about the thread getting derailed and what not.

My buddy saw the Pope Lick monster butt trucking a mountain lion while a sasquatch was sitting on a tree limb hammering his meat rocket one time. Swear to God.
