MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (April 19, 2017) – For the first time this spring, the West Virginia University women’s soccer team takes to the road, as the Mountaineers travel to Knoxville, Tennessee, for a pair of matches against Tennessee and Alabama on Saturday, April 22, at Regal Soccer Stadium.

WVU kicks against the Volunteers at 11 a.m. EST and against the Crimson Tide at 2:30 p.m.

“We will face two touch challenges Saturday in Tennessee and Alabama,” Mountaineer coach Nikki Izzo-Brown said. “I’m looking forward to seeing how this team responds to adversity on the road.”

Results from Saturday’s matches will be posted on WVUsports.com on Monday, April 24.

The Mountaineers concluded their home spring slate with a 2-0-1 mark, most recently defeating Xavier, 4-0, on April 9, at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium.
