Mountaineers hire former Clarke County standout Chandler Rhoads to lead their program. Rhoads has been a part of the staff for the last few seasons and brings a new young energy to the program. The best of luck to him and the Mountaineers!

You old guys, tisk, tisk. (The truth is, I went to the "open coaches position" list and had to look up a few schools before I found Madison)!
How quickly they forget...Madison was one of the, if not the powerhouse, in Single A for DECADES. They were in the state championship just over every 3 years under Eddie Dean. Won 3, runner-up 6 times...I don't know how many region/district titles they won but you have to turn over the banner for football in the gym to see all the titles. Last was in 1999 so I guess it is understandable if some have forgotten who the Mountaineers are...
