Mr Sirmon deserves a dose of credit too.

We did have "13" people on the field when the slaps called timeout. Sorry, we still have DC issues. Anyway, great win today!!!

Zero turnovers today vs. 4 turnovers last year might have a little to do with that. Also the really solid OL play allowing LJ all day to pass and opening up holes helped sustain drives this year - unlike last year.

Regardless - total team win and kudos to the entire team and coaching staff.

Youre making excuses.

All Grantham had to do was hold SuCkS and force OT.
His defense let them drive and score the winning FG.

If he beats SuCkS last year, he is still coaching here.

This clown Sirmon gave up over 200 yds to Snell, yet still won, and
held them to 17.

Grantham is to aggressive.
Sirmon is to passive.

Need to be in the middle.

Lol - I’m stating facts. Regardless, responding to your post was a mistake on my part. I should have known that beating your favorite dead horse would be more important to you than enjoying the win.

My bad.

You'e the one beating a dead horse.
You've never accepted the fact that Grantham was fired and rightfully so.
Save your passive aggressive crap for others.

GRANTHAM 41 points. Senior day loss
Sirmon. 17 points. Win at crummywealth stadium.

Pretty sure “fact” doesn’t mean what you think it means. Impressive array of gifs though - lol.

A week to prepare against a team who has 1 play...hand off to Snell, and still give up 200+ yards to him, color me unimpressed

Louisville scored on every possession they had but the final kneel down by Mr Pass.

Stupes rocks.

Ok then. Snell is a damn good running back. Sirmon’s defense held the rest of the Mildcat team to 127 yards of total offense on the road on their Senior Day.....That’s 36 less yards than #6 Georgia allowed to them in Athens.

Jeez.

This offense has been stupid good the last 3 weeks. When they have the offense rolling like this the defense doesn't have to be great it only has to be OK. They made key stops when they had to and the offense scored each time the defense made a stop. The end result is the TEAM blew out the last three teams.

Sirmon deserves credit for making them a decent defensive unit. We will have to see if he can make them into a good unit.

And no pass over the top this year like last year.

This was concerning even though Snell is a great player. But he’s their only player

Obviously the D wasn’t perfect but the secondary played much better and all facets of the D have improved. So yes Sirmon should get credit. The question is will it continue? Can’t wait to see who we’re matched against in the bowl game.

UK had better receivers last year and Boom Williams but Louisville had more pieces on defense last year than now. The long drives and zero turnovers kept our defense fresh yesterday but for what it’s worth, here are the numbers:

2016: UK- 352 passing yards and 3 TDs.
43 rushes for 229 yards
Sacked “0” times

2017: UK- 110 yards passing and 0 TDs
43 rushes for 228 yards
Sacked 3 times

Snell is a hell of a player.

THAT said - the fiasco play calling by Stoops inflated that kid's stats, but more importantly, succeeded to keep the deficit from being even more humiliating.

Nobody in the country is running the ball the way UK did in the 2nd half down 3-4 scores. \ Never has it been more apparent just how far apart these two programs are after watching that!

It's hard to really evaluate stats given this bizarre approach.

What we did see were a few guys making plays in the backfield for the Cards, and that's not something we've seen much of the year.

Maybe the bowl game will give us a more clear picture as to just how far our D coordinator has come.
