Gooms, I was there as well and believe TeeOh may have a point on that call. Sadly the holding call that was such a big deal was not only a good call, but was also made early in the play, long before the reception took place.

The freshman broncos coach behavior was at the very least worthy of a suspension.

I have always believed Montini ran a class organization.

Bronco Man and all Bronco fans..
the last title we had at MS came in season where we got clocked by WWS and embarrassed in Palatine.

Started off 0-2

You have a great coaching staff and a great bunch of kids. This game will only fuel the fire!

Good luck the rest of the year and all of us pray the boys stay healthy.
Thanks from a big bronco fan, I hope you guys go all thewayto the 8A championship game. I know it is only one game but you guys were firing on all cylinders both offensive and defense. Good luck to Maine South~

Meh, I've heard worse coaches. The problem was there was 3 of us and on passing plays the White hat has most of the line play. To catch any holding while protecting the QB is darn near impossible; for me anyway. Were there a few holds that should have been called? Yeah probably 1 or 2. None more than that.

Yes, really impressed with the Brother Rice broadcast. It would be great to see all teams follow suit. Great that you can watch it from Brother Rice's website and youtube.

I'd like to see all the other teams follow their lead!

======

I would like to see Montini use this format of streaming their games on the Internet but with one change.

Instead of having all students calling the game I would rather see one current Montini student calling the game with one Montini Football alumnus and one current teacher at the school or parent of current football player/football player alumnus.

Simon,

I think Smith had cramps because he got back in the game later. He really played well.

Wassup

Wassup,

Yeah he did very well. He busted off a great touchdown run and had the other long run in the second half. That kid has great speed. I still hope Walker returns soon because I think that he would be a part of a even better backfield.

Someone posted somewhere in this thread the playcalling needed to get better. I think Aurillio has done a great job since taking over. He has led Montini to three title games and won one of them.

People can say what they want about the teams they beat in between 2009 2012, but I thinkthe best team they played in the title games was Griffin.

Its way to early to say what happens but I think Robert has done a really good job and I really wish SF would had hired him this year.

give him a break his two D1 athletes did not play offense as well as his starting QB and an additional WR played hurt or limited. so that makes 4 starting pivotal offensive players ( 2 who are d1) who didn't play offense last friday night or played hurt with limited practice. didn't matter in the end because offense isn't responsible for tackling the opponent before they get into the end zone, which MS did quite frequently last week.

ppssfan,

What are you talking about? Where did I attack ANYONE in my response? Where? Give who a break? The guy I said I wish SF WOULD HAVE HIRED? I spent part of my response saying Montin has a GREAT offensive coordinator.

Where do I criticize ANYONE in my response?
