Made a big jump yesterday. Almost tripled. Up to 140 confirmed with Desoto County leading the way. Stay home.

Slight addendum, testing made a big jump. We're finding out this virus has been around for awhile and it is basically ubiquitous.

On the Labcorp site, it says they were able to ramp up Analyzing test results starting Friday, 3/20, to 20000 tests per day. I assume that is nation-wide. However, it has come to my attention that Labcorp on Flowood Drive is following their normal schedule of M-F 8-5.

I would the guess that there are several test in their Lab that will sit over the weekend before being analyzed on a Monday, 3/23.

I am at home not working today, so I can’t in good conscience criticize them for taking off the weekend. I suspect they just don’t have enough lab workers to work through the weekend anyway. Just thought I would share that info.
