Anyone heading up early Saturday to pregame in the city ?

Any suggestions outside of the official pregame at Stout ?

Thinking an 11:00 am arrival via train

Glad I reached out to Stout. Seems the Alumni Association has rented the entire bar for the morning so it is not open to the public. Any one going anywhere else as Plan B? Tough for me to get our group of 10 to pony up $50.

What’s the consensus on where people are going pre game? Would be great to commiserate with others from the boards before heading into the garden

Check out the bar in center Moynihan food hall. Called Irish Exit. Plenty of large tables in food hall for groups. Many food options. More pleasant environment than crowded, dark Stout.

That's a commuter bar.

Anyone know if Stout is open bar/what the food is for the $50? It says food and drinks included but no other details

On a Saturday morning and early afternoon?!

More like Amtrak passengers and people looking meet up in convenient, spacious location with many dining options.

Got in on an early train and scored a downstairs table at Tir Na Nog. It filled up quickly with a 90/10 mix of RU/MSU fans. Located across the street from the 8/31 street exit and Chase A entrance, it was the perfect MSG pregame location.

Went to Stout for the first time

For the $50 you received two tickets for a drink each

Waiters came around with trays of food..... Small burgers
fries, chicken tenders, margarita pizza,, pigs in a blanket, spring rolls
The food was plentiful enough where trays were eventually not all eaten at the end
Good atmosphere, the band came in and played their RU tunes
Got crowded of course, get there a bit before the opening is advised, line of 100 or so about then
Would do it again, but I would get their 20 minutes before to get good seating
