Schaumburg @ Palatine- Had Palatine won last week I would take them. That was such a deflating loss and now that they are officially eliminated from playoff contention you have to wonder where the team mindset is. I hope they continue to come out and play hard and challenge teams the rest of the way. There’s simply too much on the line for Schaumburg that I’m picking them. Won’t be surprised at all if Palatine beats them though.

Conant @ Fremd- Huge game. Both teams just going to pound each other. I expect a low scoring game with field positioning being critical. Truly a toss up. I’m taking Fremd cause they’re at home.

Elk Grove @ Hersey- Very nice win for the Grens last week over Wheeling. Congrats to Coach Osei on his first win. Unfortunately... you gotta go play at Hersey now. Maybe the rain slows down the Hersey passing game and EG can give them a half. Probably not though. Hersey wins big.

Rolling Meadows @ Wheeling- The loss to Elk Grove pretty much all but eliminated Wheeling from the playoffs. Prospect and Hersey remain. Rolling Meadows will roll big time here. I think the Wildcats have packed it in after last weeks loss.

Hoffman @ Barrington- Unbelievable win last week for the Hawks. Lots of question marks defensively as Palatine seemed to score at will. This could be the perfect recipe for Barrington as Fremd shut them out last weekend. In my opinion, this is the game of the year for Barrington. It’s now or never to turn the season around. That being said, I’ve got Hoffman.

Prospect @ BG- Well we’ve pretty much found out what BG is without Trieb. What a shame. Prospect should get it done here. The Knights have a huge opportunity to win their final 3 games and finish 6-3 to get back into the playoffs (Wheeling and Elk Grove at home left).

Schaumburg @ Palatine.. Stunned by both A) the lack of offensive point production by Schaumburg, and B) the lack of defensive capabilities overall by our Pirates. Most of Pirates scoring has been thru the air, so if the weather affects passing significantly that's a strike against Palatine.

Schaumburg has a Trotter kick return for a TD and a field goal the last two weeks for their total scoring output, and was shut out by HE where Palatine did score 44 points at least.

Given that, hard to say who will win but I see it being a sloppy 14-7 type of game.
