Good pick of the NASA logo here. Or do we call that the flying M..I forget.

Tony James - I haven't heard that name in a long time. And Michael Davis....Dixion should watch his film and be taught "run like Michael Davis".

Hell, even Dana Moore's ancient helmet looks 100x better than our white M State.

if you look at the endzones, you can tell that that crowd was from a previous year. I wasn't here the year before so idk if it was the same or not but that's what it was like last year. from the hints of red, it looks like it was the alabama game.

yes that was the Flying M...and I really used to like it. However, when Bob Tyler came on the scene in 73 we went to the helmets that Rockey and Walter Packer are wearing. The MS maroon ones.

Everytime I see that Flying M logo it reminds me of losing. Because we did more than our share with those damn white helmets.

The Flying M was before my time. I only remember it from the sign it was on as you drove into Starkville from either 25 or 12.

our EE, ME, aerospace et al programs were shipping so many graduates to Houston (and the space program) that the NASA logo rip-off kinda worked. Still to this day, I think that Houston has the largest MSU alumni group outside the state of Mississippi.

If you have ever been on a Southwest flight from Houston to Jackson on a Friday night before a State home game (esp back in the Sherrill and winning days) then you would think that every engineer in Houston was on the plane ....drinking and screaming "Dogs up in here."
