If we are 15 to 1 to win the West, the perceived much stronger division, seems strange that the odds would jump all the way to 30 to 1 to win the SEC.

I disagree with those odds. I would have had us with longer odds to win the West but the odds to win the SEC, BCS I would have had a lot closer. If you win the west you have already proven you are one of the elite teams. I would have gone 40/1 for the West, 45/1 for the SEC, and 55/1 for BCS. But then I was never married to Sharon Stone or friends with Joe Pesci either.
