I'd have liked to see more runs, but that's a huge win. Bats need to come alive tomorrow.

Witherspoon has a twin on the team. He may be in the rotation this weekend.

We played in a regional final last year? So you're saying this is a team that will host or play in a super? It's a good win, but that's rather bold to say they're better than last years team.

If we actually end up being better than last year, that'll be a good season. I wasn't sure they were ever going to win a close game vs a good team, but it happened tonight, so the sky's the limit (or falling, not sure yet).

With Pico pitching like he has so far, I feel like this team can be a little better than last year.

I actually think this team is talented, but I'm not sure I'd say they are better. I'd argue that they slightly underachieved last year, but it always felt like they could claw a win against anyone. This years team has to learn to win like that. Hopefully tonight is a game they can use to go on a run.

I just don't see how this team is better than last season.

Several players on last year's team would be absolute difference makers on this team.

Dakota Jordan, Connor Hujsak, Tyler Davis, Tyson Hardin, Khal Stephen, Jurrangelo Cijntje, Brooks Auger

Are there seven players on this year's team that you wouldn't trade for that lot^?

I hope the players on this team develop by the end of the season to make this my worst take ever.
