Yes, and this time I don't have your gouda mac to enjoy.

And...I'm better prepared to cuss at Berry when he drops the football at the end of the game.

He is a playmaker at TE, and those little shovel passes are so much more dangerous with him in the game.

It sure is nice to LOOK like a football team again. That crowd was rockin- hope for the same vs LSU this year. Just got chills seeing Nick Bell wearing 36 on the field...

Its easy to forget that. He had a game in this one and the saddest part is that he was doing that with a body ravaged by cancer at that moment. His *** was already sick and yet, he was starting and playing well against the eventual NC... Impossible to believe he was dead 6 weeks later.

Amazing how many chances we had. Hard not to feel that playing Russell two series in a row in the third quarter hurt our chances. I guess the coaches didn't know yet how good Relf was going to be, even though he had slashed some big runs in the td drive in the second quarter.

I think I somehow missed this game last season. What a good football team we put on the field that day.

What always bothers me, more than the Berry drop at the end, was the drop by Corey B on the obvious Pick Six on Cam's last possession. That would have turned the tides, and was definitely the one play that we missed that could have changed the outcome of the game.

I'll just add that we've got a lot to look forward to this coming season. After seeing that replay last night, I can't wait untll the season starts. It's shaping up to be a long summer.

I've just seen it once but there was the 3rd and six run by Cam to give AV 1st down on the thirty on their td drive. Then there was the 12 yard td pass on third and goal. I guess that contradicts my earlier comment on the defense. The three and out after the onside recovery was huge. As I mentioned, the two anemic offensive series in the third quarter. Or take away the turnovers, which AU scores ten points off of. Still a great effort by our team and coaches, but damn sure not perfect.

As far the Berry drop, it's really unfair to pin that on him because the offense had failed so many times to make first downs and avoid us being in that desperate situation at the end of the game. Also, it was a much tougher catch than it may look like; he had to move backwards and put his hands up in a split second.

I love football but it's not my religion so I don't remember how much we platooned qb's after that game, but it was pretty obvious there tha Relf had to be the man, the way I see things.

I hope TR can contribute this season in some way but I think he'll have to be a lot quicker with decisions and release, as well as have some pocket-survival skills, to make some positive plays for the team he always loved, just like me.
