Also, will be good to see this after the 4 games this week. Will have played 40% (14/36) of the total Power 5 +USM games on our schedule. At 14 games played on Sunday, anomalies begin to work itself out.View attachment 1229503
Got this in a group chat I’m in that’s counting the Power 5 (+USM) stats. So 10 games of data.
Some pretty interesting takeaways. Perhaps most encouraging is Woodson’s slugging and OPS. 1.100 OPS without a single free pass is pretty impressive.
Gotta get Frei and Reese going. Reese’s numbers are awful.
How the heck does Georgia have 80 HRs are they playing on a field with those plastic fences inside the outfield fence? That's impressive regardless who they've played.I'm poking around here this morning: https://www.secsports.com/sport/baseball/stats
We and several other school haven't updated after yesterday's games.
Side note... if my math is correct we're now hitting a league best .303 in conference play. Georgia should be 2nd at .300
Team batting avg for the year is currently a smoooooth... .350

Oak is definitely more of a contact/fewer Ks guy vs the HR/K mentality. We have the fewest Ks in the league thru 6 games. Granted Vandys staff isn’t very goodI have to assume there is some kind of difference in hitting philosophy.
What explains why we have so many more doubles than these teams (like Ole Miss) that are hitting an inordinate amount of home runs vs hits inside the park?
To make sure fans have something to ***** about when the team is doing well. If not, we will find something...Why does it take our stats on hailstate.com three days longer than everyone else to get updated???

It’s flipped. He meant 58 runs in 50 IPAm I crazy, or is 50 ERs in 58 IP less than 9.00 ERA?
And I also ran my numbers based on 50 IP… but they’ve actually only pitched 49.2 innings because they never got the final out against us.It’s flipped. He meant 58 runs in 50 IP
