Last year MSU finished #15 in football and has had back to back winning seasons and bowl wins. With MSU on the verge of a total collapse and not making the NCAA again has the football program become better than the basketball program?

but this past year`s football team underachieved somewhat like our basketball has become notorious for. However Mullen has only been in charge of his program a few years while Stans has been at it a long time. Itruly don`t know what Mullen`s upside is butit`s become obvious that all we can expect from Stans is more of the same.

I know this, for a school our size in the SEC the chances for being really successful in football are only a fraction of what they are in basketball. I.E. Mullen`s job is a hell of a lot tougher than Stans`. IMO

Football definitely has more upside. Mullen hasn't had the time to get all the pieces in place and the team is pretty good.

Basketball has peaked. And not from a talent deficiency. I'm not sure Stans could consistently get KY's roster into the tournament.

Both teams started the season with high expectations and underperformed, even though basketball is not over yet....we are much closer to the #1 team in the country in talent level in basketball, very far away in football.. So no basketball is still king...
