I'm leaning toward the thought that we will probably win this game, simply because most of our recruits will not be able to see the game. Typical M State.

I love how somebody in Maine can see the game, but no one in Mississippi can.

....game we'll suddenly sneak up and win. Our home fans don't get any satisfaction anymore, and neither do the visiting recruits.. In fact, we ought to just all skip home games and just buy away tickets from now on.

Today's DirecTV rep says "yes you can order weekly, but you can only place the order on Saturday morning and in some cases on Friday afternoon - please try again later". WTF??!?!?!

Has anyone here successfully ordered 1 week of gameplan from DirecTV?

FYI: This game can be purchased on the Gameplan for just one week. However, I battled this last year with DirecTV. If you want the weekly/daily option only, you have to purchase that only on Saturday morning. For some crazy reason, they won't let you do that option in advance. For those calling today or tomorrow, you're only option is to purchase the remaining season.

and it didn't work. Don't waste your time. Calling Saturday morning will work -- I assure you. It worked great for me last season on a weekly basis.

you are a poor student, like me, then its the way to go this year. Watch Tech in a bar, then watch LSU on ESPN 2, Vanderbilt may not be televised at all. The last half of our season looks like a Raycom special for six weeks. That's when I'll get gameplan.

am i gonna be able to view the game there?? or what if i went across into florida?? my understanding that the acc raycom game is carrying it, should i be able to view this for free in florida??

I believe ESPN can only blackout non-conf Raycom games. SEC vs SEC Raycom games can't be blacked out by ESPN. At least that's the way the story on the GT PPV read.

that sounds about right. They don't get the full weekend schedule from espn ppv until Wednseday/Thursday so they don't offer the option to purchase for the week until they have schedule. I believe you can just push guide go to the 700s and find the MSU game and press info to order with your remote for the weekly charge.
