to be bowl eligible in October. 2 chances actually. The last time MSU pulled off that feat was 1999 when we went 8-0.

The only losses on our schedule are to two undefeated top-6 teams. One of those we should have won.

The SEC West division has 5 of 6 programs ranked in the top 25. The only program that isn't ranked is UM.

Ballard is tied for 2nd in the nation in touchdowns. White is 9th for sacks.

MSU's defense ranks 3rd in the SEC in points allowed behind Alabama and LSU.

The wool is getting thick.

We are 12th in the nation in scoring defense.
Only one team has scored more than two touchdowns on us in a game, and it came in garbage time.
Through seven games, we have not had anyone rush for 100 yards on us, and we have faced Cam Newton.
We have scored 40+ points three times this season, and will likely have at least one more. Counting last year, you have to go back to 2000 to get three 40+ games.
We are 2-0 against the SEC East. If we beat Kentucky, it will be the third time (first since '99) that we go 3-0 against the East. Ironically, both times we did so ('94,'99) we ended up in the Peach Bowl.
We are averaging 28.5 points per game, which includes two games of 7 and 10 and one of 14.
For the first time in 18 years, we are 20+ point favorites in multiple games this year.

at 9 games. Ingram went for over 100 against us last year.
