Jesus... However, the SEC is looking pathetic enough this year that I wouldn't rule out another SEC west run.

The free throw shooting really killed us tonight - shooting the 3 poorly didn't help either.

I can't wait to actually see this team play on TV b/c I'm tired of trying to guess what our strength/weaknesses are from the box score

i dont see it. We have alot of young talent that needs time and we need to relax and enjoy our NIT trip this season

...a little "relax & enjoy" advice from a poster whose only goal in life is to stir the sh*t like a crazed howler monkey.

You telling everybody to "relax & enjoy" a given MSU sports season is like Sly Croom charging $100 a pop to attend his offensive scheme seminar.

that **** was tough to watch.

these last two games, they have really pushed the issue and tried to become a fast break team...which they arent...yet.
just a frantic pace, and it led to awful shot after awful shot. sprinting down the court, passing once, and launching a shot from wherever the pass is received apparently just doesnt work too well...who knew?

Osby's stats were interesting...all his points off of FTs.

and we did almost shoot 50% from inside the arc, which isnt awful.
i did like Augustus' energy. he was everywhere.

but once again, there were almost no assists and WAY too many turnovers.

If Stans every hires anyone that knows how to coach offense I think we'll turn back into a force. We haven't looked organized on offense in a long, long time.

While I've yet to see this team play what you describe sounds just chaotic. Shot selection is a vastly underrated part of the game.

I think we will improve as the season goes on and hopefully we can get to the nit.

12-3 in non-conference (will also lose to Cincinnati)
10-6 in conference

A 22-9 record will mean the Big Dance

Again, dont underestimate how bad the SEC is

was interesting. This run of games left them with little practice time. Next game is Saturday. That will give them time to practice and fine-tune what they've learned this past week or so.

AA - talkin' 'bout practice

dictate how we played the game. WSU got us in a slow down pace and TT got us in an up and down game. We need Brian Johnson back down low. This team will be better as the season goes on.
