Personally I think Sidney had some improprieties but you can't punish someone without actual proof. If the Sidney situation was played out in a criminal courtroom, there wouldn't have been enough to convict him. In light of that, Sidney got screwed and the NCAA can still *%%* itself.

I would have had him eligible this past January. Interestingly, I wonder who argued ourappeal to the NCAA - Bracky Brett? The school's general counsel? </p>

Just wondering....if we schedule 28 games for next season, then 30% is only 8.4 games. Could he come in after halftime of the 9th game? If that's a road game, would he be allowed to travel with the team?

NCAA spokesman Bob Williams said he wouldn’t comment on the reasons for the denial, “other than the NCAA Division I Student-Athlete Reinstatement Committee reviewed the facts associated with this case and made their decision.”

which again just says we need no basis for decisions we make because we ARE the NCAA and answer to noone.
