I think the moment for me and many was when Kellum Clark hit the homerun to go up 9 - 0 in the top of the 7th. It was real then.

After the final loss
I think the bar was called Midnights.
We closed the bar down that night.
Must have been 200 State fans there.
Got the DJ to play Dear ol State a dozen times.
We obliterated the shots tally record for all teams, all time.
Sucked to lose, but was a helluva night.

That was the moment I let myself really believe & just relaxed & enjoyed the last 3 innings. I mean I enjoyed it all. But I was nervous until then.
The Dead Injuns intervened in Omaha in 2021 & exorcised 100 years worth of MSU athletics demons, BOC was just a victim.
The way that team and the 2018 went in for the kill.... Love it
The crowd shots, I was absolutely proud of how insanely thick the maroon was. We took that joint over.

Man, that team was just clutch. The whole postseason. Really all year.
Not O’Connors greatest moment for sure. Easy to second guess baseball coaches. But leaving a pitcher who had only thrown 42 inning in for 98 pitches and then bringing in a closer with a bad arm were not great decisions.
Might as well have been a walk-off. That’s when everyone in maroon knew what was up. The last 2 innings were just an early beginning of the afterparty.
That whole CWS was such a team effort from top to bottom.
Lemonis was correct in his postgame speech, he said he couldn’t walk down the street because State fans had just taken over the city. It was a majestic Maroon and White Sea up and down that place. I’ll never forget that!
Took this at Rocco’s before Game 3. Think the plantation folks beat it the next year; did TN beat it the year after … possibly.
Of course taking my dad in 2018 and having him get all the attention is one of my greatest memories ever. This pic after we won it all is one of my favorites.
Loved how we took the whistler out with the chant every time he whistled. Noise was deafening and he drowned in it.
It was magical … whistle whistle whistle ….. “Let’s Go State” on cadence! No to mention the Maroon/White being echoed through the stadium!
One of my favorite moments as a fan. I was there, and that one swing meant we had secured what we all wanted. Will never forget
