I think it will add students who would have gone to South Alabama for engineering (in-state tuition extended to the MS Coast counties). It's a really smart move by MSU to push to the Coast.

Great move to get a presence on the Coast. I doubt it will bring many students to Starkville, but will add students in Gautier.

In no way shape or form will it keep perspective students from enrolling in Starkville ("I think I'll just stay here and live at home because I like that better."), but it will add untraditional students and people who would otherwise go somewhere else or nowhere at all.

Extremely smart of MSU. Very proud.

** Perspective students are usually more into art or philosophy.
