I know there's a snow ball's chance but I thought I'd ask. Headed to the slopes soon and would love to sport Maroon and White. Anyone know of any good MSU waterproof shell jackets to ski in?

I was at the book store on campus today and they had a water-resistant UnderArmour ColdGear jacket in black but I didn't think it would work: http://msstate.bncollege....000&top=N&level=

Also found this maroon Volcom ski jacket and thought about having a logo embroidered on it: http://www.outdoorsinc.co...ck=c0113_2215_f0113_2300

Any ideas?

The mstate logo in a husqvarna embroidery file format. Of course, you need to find someone with a husqvarna embroidery machine.

I would guess its the same company. My mom use to own a sewing shop here in meridian and she still has a few embroidery machines laying around. Last year I found a website that can convert a .jpg image into a embroidery file for a fee (per stitch). I had them convert the new mstate logo for me. It was around $30. My mom puts the logo on all kinds of stuff for me. Once you have the file loaded in the machine, you can do any color combo you want. The file tells the machine when it's time to change the thread color. I have some stuff with a white M, maroon STATE, and a grey outline and I have some suff with the maroon M and so on and so on.

Black Columbia fleece with a white mstate logo she did for me that I wear all the time. I can email you the file if you know someone with access to a husqvarna machine.

it's just solid black and has the state logo on it. It is absolutely perfect for skiing. It'sreally light but really warm at the same time. You won't burn up in it but it will keep you as warm as just about any jacket. I wore it in Chicago last new years.
