Did the NCAA rescind that rule about the confederate flag, or is this going to be screwed up aGAIN?

Mississippi & South Carolina called the bluff of the NCAA, and they have pretty much let that drop, although I think it's technically still on the books.

A side note about this tourney: We can lose both games in the 1st round, and we still get to go to the championship tourney.

On that subject, did the NCAA folks come around to the Lounge during the superregionals and tell people to take down the Mississippi state flag because it had the confederate symbol on it? I heard that from where I was. Didn't see it happen though.

That is officially the most 17-ed up tournament bracket I've ever seen. It makes the 3-team baseball tournaments we used to host look well thought out by comparison.

it's automatic that we keep going. Seems like they may have been just saving typewriter ribbon.

*Although, the MState frontpage article about the tourney says we WILL be in New Jersey that next week... So I give up trying to interpret.

just means that when we play Washington St., they will be the "home" team.
