hahahaha why am I not surprised??
I think it's been done before, but not this year and it would be interesting. Off hand I would agree but that's probably just because I know state's roster better.
QB: Dak over Wallace
RB: Robinson over Mathers?
Left OT: Clausell toss-up with Tunsil --> Seems clear Tunsil will be better. I don't think he was better last year and it's not guaranteed hell be better this year. Sherrod didn't make the jump til after his true sophomore year.
Left OG: Clayburn v. Morris?? Morris if he was healthy. Is he?
C: Dillon Day over ?????
RG: Malone or Beckwith v. Justing Bell?? Have no clue about Bell. Malone is good if healthy. Beckwith is solid.
RT: Malone or Johnson or Rufus Warrn v. ??? Should be an easy pickup for UM if they have a proven player at RT. Do they?
TE Malcom Johnson/Artimus Samuel v. Even Engram? No clue. Happy with what we have but not sure what Engram's like.
I have no clue about wide receivers. If treadwell stays inside, I assume we'd take Bear Wilson over y'alls top outside threat. If he moves outside, I assume we'd take Jameon Lewis over your slot. I assume your second outside wide receiver would be as good or better than Robert Johnson?
On defense, I'd give Jones the nod over Nkemdichee mainly because of attitude, I like our LBs, y'all's safeties, and think we could use a healthy CJ Johnson for his pass rush and don't know about the interior.
Out of say 14 where I think there is a clear leader, I'd take 9 from MSU and 5 from UM, but a couple of those I'm either choosing against an UM player I don't know (basically every LB position) or choosing an UM player I don't know assuming they're at least average (RT, DT).
ETA: I'm matching strength to strength, not doing what would really happen and put Tunsil and Clausell at opposite tackles, putting one of Jones/Kemdichee at DE and one at DT, etc.
