That cant' be right. we are a terrible team and coach says vandy is a good team that does good things on offense

I think Vandy whups our arse. If we play a little better (& they quit making a living off breaks), I think we have a shot. They, like us, aren't going to get a lot of respect (from the gambling crowd anyway).

that by it being a toss-up at our place pretty much makes us the underdog? We couldnt even be favored over Vandy at our place? Hell, Auburn was a 7 point favorite over them at Vandy....

first of all auburn was a 4 point favorite in nashville, not 7. your gambling instincts gave them a half tease (so i'll let that slide).

but we're supposed to be the underdog in this one. vandy's an undefeated, ranked, SEC team.

we haven't won a game against an FBS opponent. not one. we should be getting points. and by wednesday, we probably will be getting points, which could make us a good pick. but i can't wait to see you tease vandy. go ahead and bet your socks and your daddy's watch, cause i'm pretty sure that's all you have left.

but what does it say about Vandy that they aren't even favored over our sorry arse?

that Starksville is a tough place to play...ask Auburn and SeLa...and we have been very competitve in SEC games...we are big on moral victories this year

over a 1-4 team?? probably a long *** time. Vandy is over-rated. The book-makers are smarter than the rankers.

probably at a neutral site Vandy -5,

in Nashville Vandy -9.

I figure they are saying Vandy is 5 pts better.

...home team gets three points automatically. So, Vandy would be -5 against us in Nashville. I still think that number will grow and we'll see Vandy at -4 or -5 leading up to the game.

With Vandy favored by 2 in Starkville, they'd be favored by about 5 at a neutral site and by about 8 in Nashville.
