Since the general consensus seems to be we are headed to Jacksonville/Atl regardless of Saturday's outcome, what do you think happens with Vandy? If we lose, and assuming Vandy beats Wake, they will be 8-4 but they have finished 5-3 in the league and we would be 4-4. I am wondering if, in that scenario, that they take our place and we end up back in Nashville.

I think that's pretty likely honestly. Take care of business, and we won't have to worry about that.

I think the Gator will look at Vandy's figures from the time they played in the MCB and choose us, but I don't see that scenario playing out anyway.

Vandy is a small school and not many fans. We'd have a much larger contingent to go to Jacksonville or even Atlanta. And probably Nashville too.

But Vandy has done a good job this year and deserves a nice bowl for a change. And so do we.

Negative. Vandy will not be going to the gator over MSU based on conference record. That is of no concern.

nah, they take Vandy. because Vandy will probably not be up for consideration for that bowl any time soon, while we look like we will be hanging around the Peach/Gator/MCB borderline for awhile. Gator should avoid taking us 2 out 3 years before it becomes 3 out of 4 or 5 (when few will go).

Heck, State has a bigger contingency in Nashville than Vandy.....neither bowl wants the dores
