I maybe completely wrong but I read somewhere that for now on the tickets to the Egg Bowl were going to be $65. The reason is that the extra money will go toward a scholarship fund for Mississippi kids. Maybe completely off base but I think that is correct.

My season ticket order form package included a letter explaining that an extra $10 or $15 was added to the Egg Bowl price and 100 percent of the difference is being donated to some sort of scholarship fund that has been set up for Mississippi students from low-income/financial hardship families.
