With the losses by Notre Dame, Georgia, and close wins by some other top 25ers, I predict we wind up #15 in the week 2 rankings..

I'll bet we'll jump TCU, Georgia and Notre Dame. The only one I'm not sure of but I think is possible we'll jump is Michigan State since they didn't blowout Youngstown State. Didn't watch the game so I don't know if they really weren't unimpressive at all or what...

****, at least we are talking about what ranking we will be instead of how much of a "moral victory" we can salvage out of our weekly SEC *** whipping under Crooms..

but as fans, I don't see anything wrong with having a little fun with it. That type of mindset should be reserved to players and coaches.

Obviously its not meaningless, ESPN doesn't come on and say "well f it, top 25 ismeaningless until week 12"....<div>
</div><div>I mean come on, be f'ing happy that we aren't scraping the ESPN bottom 10 list like we constantly were under Crooms..</div>

....so we can be in the top 2 after week 12. Because they aren't going to leapfrog anybody from 15th to the top 2 in one week.<div>

Not meaningless....Top 25 teams get more ESPN love/airtime during the course of the season. It helps recruiting in the long-term I think, even if you don't end up in a BCS game.
