WAY too early. We essentially went into a stall with about 6 minutes left and let Alabama get to within 2 after having an 11 point lead. Luckily Bost made a couple of circus 3s to push us back out but those were very low percentage shots to be counting on.

This is a hundred percent accurate. It was almost exactly six minutes left. We had been been about 9-11 points up for about four minutes, maintaining a rather comfortable lead. Then we go into that stupidass Standsbury stall with six minutes left and almost blow it in three minutes. Does that hillbilly not understand you can't run the clock out in basketball like you can in football?????????? As soon as Bama hit the corner three and got the steal and layup, you knew it was going to get tight again. Sure enough, it did. And did our shot selection then improve? Of course not. Bost was fortunate to hit his two. Ravern threw up a 30 footer on a two-on-one. His mid-range jumper was a pretty good shot that he has taken a lot lately, and of course his spot up three was a big shot. Otherwise, turrible.

I want us to make the NCAAs because it's my favorite sport and my favorite event. But take the team name off our jersey, and there is no way we pass the eye test. UConn looks better than us. So does Florida. Not sure about all the bubble teams. I just know we don't look good enough to be in.
