He chose us over some real powerhouses.**

[Willow Grove Dawg]

He will be a Preferred Walk-On

[Trojanbulldog19]

There is your back up depth chart filler

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

He chose us over some real powerhouses.**

Like Gardner Minshew?

[Ralph Cramden]

So he is a walk on ? I was just looking at that article and thinking " another qb ??". Lol

[stateu1]

Covert him to WR probably....

[kired]

Is he available to play next weekend? We still need a backup, right?

A walkon QB that ran the Air Raid in high school. If anything, I'm sure he'll be good to have in the QB room.

[cowbell88]

If he’s had any kinda injury that’s sidelined him for one half of any game the last year, he probably not gonna work out. We’re 0-2 the last 2 years in that department.

[Ralph Cramden]

I guess. He will be a redshirt freshman so not like he is very experienced but if he is a walk on thats perfect. I sure don't wanna lose Sawyer tho

Walk on at MSU in the SEC or go to Drake and play at a D1 FCS non scholarship school.
Interesting options. Very different.

Another transfer QB? WAOM

[Seinfeld]

Pretty sure I read on 247 that he’s a former 4-star as well, so we could certainly do worse with a walk on position

People understand the air raid at one place isn’t the same as an air raid somewhere else, right?

The concepts of a qb seeing the field might be similar but those concepts can come from other offenses as well.

The point is his “air raid offense” in high school will be of little importance to his ability or input in MSU’s qb room.

Wearing a Bass Pro hat in his 247 mug shot...he better be preferred.
