For those interested the women’s golf team landed in Belleair, FL last night, practice round tomorrow. SEC Tournament starts Monday at Pelican Golf Club. We won last year so are defending SEC champs.

The team finished +3 on the day and currently in 8th place. Avery finished -3, Sam -2, Chiara +3, Izzy and Pina both +5 on the day. They were paired up with Vandy and ole miss today. Still three matches out on the course.

After round 2 the team is tied for 7th place with A&M with Arkansas, Florida, and Bama all right behind.
Not sure what the record is but SC is -20 after 2 rounds. That's very good, not sure what the lowest score ever is. Georgia is +44 in last.
The Dawgs had the best round out of all teams today at -6 and finished in 5th place. They will start match play tomorrow against ole miss who came in 4th.
You have a kid on the team? I think I remember you taking about women’s junior golf and scholarship stuff on here in the past.
A SEC team being +58 seems imposable. Make your daughter's learn golf because they have a full ride to college waiting on them.
I actually played a practice round once with the Southern conference woman’s golf teams once at their conference tournament . I know that’s D3 but you can’t imagine how bad they were. If you know the difference between a driver and a putter and are female you can get a college scholarship somewhere. For comparison I’m a 19 handicap!
