It's like we lost focus, or something. The ineptitude right before halftime was almost comical.
This is why I hate watching UT’s women. It’s a love fest for Pat the entire game. I respect her and her legacy, but every game I seem to watch is almost a recruiting video for UT no matter how good or bad they are, winning or losing. It's been nice to get a little conversation about the actual game in between all of these Tennessee history lessons being shoved down our throats on the broadcast.

I will give him credit though - he signed 3 McDonald's AA for next year's class. My MSU thought about that is - is being a MCD AA as great as it was 15-20 year ago. It was an exclusive group then.Recruiting and coaching aren't the same thing. We have a really good ( one of these things ) for women's basketball.
my thoughts tooThat is where the game was lost.
Well.. it was “We Back Pat” week. Even our players were wearing the t-shirt and Nikki Fargas played for her, so it makes sense they’d spend a lot of time on her. 3? That’s kind of crazy. Rickea Jackson was the first one we ever signed.I will give him credit though - he signed 3 McDonald's AA for next year's class. My MSU thought about that is - is being a MCD AA as great as it was 15-20 year ago. It was an exclusive group then.
To DawgStudent's credit, McDonalds All American may not be as exclusive as it used to be. But the good thing is the incoming at least caught the eye of someone that hopefully knows basketball talent. I just hope that once they get to campus, "we" can help along the process of them growing as basketball players, instead of being as good as they'll ever be as freshmen.3? That’s kind of crazy. Rickea Jackson was the first one we ever signed.
This right here. I think we have 4 street ballers and 1 post player at any given time on the court. I like seeing shooters shoot, but it's like their first move is to always drive to the rim, then they make the decision to shoot or pass after they're in trouble. Then it's a well guarded shot or an off balance inaccurate pass. Works sometimes, but when you go against a disciplined defense like Tennessee, you're just asking to be made to look foolish.I've been saying similar things all season, but we have no point guard and it is killing us.
If this team had Morgan William, they'd be so much better. The turnovers are ridiculous and they're not improving at all.
I think they'll find their way into the tourney and maybe win a game, but that's probably the ceiling for this season. Acceptable, but better ball security and smarter playmaking would go a long way.

Ok. We must play them this time every year then.Well.. it was “We Back Pat” week. Even our players were wearing the t-shirt and Nikki Fargas played for her, so it makes sense they’d spend a lot of time on her. I get what you’re saying though.
