After round 1 today we are sitting in 5th place overall at +3, pretty good rounds today. Navy is behind us at +11 so we just need to improve or stay where we are.

We're up to 4th now, Auburn is now in 5th down 2 spots. Navy took a huge dive.
Gotta be feeling really comfortable where we are sitting now. Wrap it up and move on!
Forced to follow women's golf to get a winner for our State sports fix.............Not that there is anything wrong with that. **
State finishes fourth 12 shots ahead of fifth place Fullerton
Auburn is sixth one shot back of Fullerton
San Jose State and Berkeley are four and five shots back of Fullerton with a combined six holes to play apiece.

Yep only question now is can one of those teams catch CSF.
Turns out they had the live scoring wrong, Auburn thought they were about to go to a playoff with CSF until they corrected the scores at the end.
I saw that Auburn live scoring issue when I was editing my comment to go into San Jose and Berkeley and wound up re-doing it…
Good for the ladies.
Throwaway side note, I played that Gold Canyon course many moons ago. Hadn't thought about it in a long time. Very cool course winding thru the Superstition Mountains.
Main memories are of all the golf balls buried in a huge Saguaro cactus just off the first tee, and how 17'n slow and oblivious most women are on a golf course (wife and sis in law).

It sounds like a pretty cool course for sure. My first though was great, of course our regional is in the Superstition Mountains.
Isn't it funny that our ladies' teams are good, but our men's team tends to suck? No matter what sport we're talking about.
SEC did very well in regionals this year as usual.
