Saturday 11 AM @ Mt.Carmel is this CCL Prep Bowl playoff game.Could be a blood bath but MC could run the Prep Bowl table and fatten their record along with the cries of unfair games and practices and get of the Prep Bowl lol.Keep in mind that coming from the CPS big wig.If they get rid of the Prep Bowl then he would make all CPS teams eligible for the State Playoffs.If that happened this year 19 CPS teams would have knocked out other more deserving schools as 41 points at 5-4 would have been the cutoff

Dean - I think that any CCL schools that lose in the first 2 rounds are eligible to jump back into Prep Bowl correct?
Rice isn't losing in the first 2 rounds. SR is an underdog but won't be intimidated given the quality of teams they played.
Brother Rice will get beat by Fremd in the first round. Fremd is a bigger, stronger team that will run over the weak Rice defense. Plus their defense is as good as Loyola's and will slow down Rice.
You will not be laughing at 4:30 pm on Saturday. This is a balance of power game that will be won by the Mid-Suburban West over the CCL-Blue.
De La Salle was a tale of two cities, Blown out by MC and Fenwick. Played hard against Montini and Marmion. Lost to better teams, 5-4 with an opportunity to play a 10th game. I know Boehm is trying to build a winner, I believe they are moving in the right direction.
Rice beats Fremd but if their looking to a rematch with LA Stevie will beat them.

Does this Balance of Power shift you proclaim is happening from the CCL Blue to MSW apply to all the other MSW playoff teams as well Rainmaker? Or is it just Fremd and this matchup?
Correct, but not mandatory, they can call it a season if they wish. Providence never plays for the Prep Bowl playoffs, but MC, BR, LA and SR always respect the tradition out of the Blue Div and play if eliminated.
Fremd hangs tough for the first half, BR pulls away and wins by 21.....too much speed. Stranger things have happened and Fremd will need some helps from the Football Gods, but stright up on talent, Rice wins. I do think New Trier will beat Marist.
I'm not a BR fan at all, in fact I know for the a fact the BR people on here do not like me as I've been "critical" of BR and Badke but I will be willing to bet quite a large sum of money BR wins. Obviously this is hypothetical because I don't know you but game won't even be close.
Marist's (that's hard to say) D is much improved from last year. I don't think they are losing to New Trier.
Totally agree - I think they are a very very good team (particularly on defense). In my bracket, I have them in the quarterfinals vs Palatine.
All of the Mid-Suburban West teams will win. Hoffman Estates over Benet will surprise a few people but Palatine over ND and Barrington over Leyden are expected by almost everyone.
