Not to be picky but i meant dribble, a thin stream of liquid; a trickle. I was comparing the quote to diarrhea.
Outside of East Forsyth (and maybe Glenn) this league is average - at best. EF is the only one of the CPC teams you really ever hear about come playoff time. Those CPC Schools are pretty good; the deepest conference in the state.
Average. Mr Tabor just put up almost 50 on RC. Look I have seen football all over the state. And normally I would say the Charlotte conferences are the best in the state. But this year it might be the CPC.Outside of East Forsyth (and maybe Glenn) this league is average - at best. EF is the only one of the CPC teams you really ever hear about come playoff time.
We have a long way to go.OverRaiders. LOLOLOL. Very funny and semi creative. Think RC is way down this year. The Hood brothers were exceptional at RC.
Agree the CPC will be tough this year. EAst Forsyth is gonna be a BIG problem this year. MT Tabor is well coached and only a season or two from a ship.
East Forsyth, Glenn, Mt Tabor, West Forsyth, Reagan and Davie are 6 teams who are consistent playoff teams.Outside of East Forsyth (and maybe Glenn) this league is average - at best. EF is the only one of the CPC teams you really ever hear about come playoff time.
Judging from the responses here from Richmond fans...not gonna be a particularly good year for the Raiders, so I am not sure I would base the success of an entire conference based off of 1 non-conference win the first game of the season.Average. Mr Tabor just put up almost 50 on RC. Look I have seen football all over the state. And normally I would say the Charlotte conferences are the best in the state. But this year it might be the CPC.
My thoughts exactly. I absolutely hate split divisions. I’m willing to compromise at adding a 5A division.Did NC go back to splitting classifications? I thought there were only 4 state champs now..hope it stays that way. 8 state champs in NC felt like a participation trophy at times.
Not by 38 points. Last time they got beat that bad it was by 35 in 1980.Richmond has lost that big before(Chambers and Providence just off the top of my head). Is it because it was Mt Tabor that did it that it seems a huge shocker?
Chambers won 38-7 in 2019, Providence I think beat them 37-7 in the early 2000s.Not by 38 points. Last time they got beat that bad it was by 35 in 1980.
See above.I think I would rather listen to one of those Shelby trolls than this dribble.
100% coach. Only difference would note is RC has a better tradition than Anson and Scotland and a much better youth football feeder program that will get the guys better prepared for MS and HS ball. While RC is shrinking its still not as a great rate. Pinecrest has an excellent feeder program and in a growing area. Here is the problem with teams in the Sandhills. The only county down there that is growing is Moore county. Richmond Scotland Anson Montgomery Cumberland Ect are shrinking. No one is moving into those districts. Pinecrest is the best situation down there something that would have been laughed at 10 years ago is now true Pinecrest is the best job in that area. Here is something else that Pinecrest has that the other county schools does not have Pinecrest has two other schools in county to have transfers come from. So is Richmond county football dead? No but it will never ever be the same. The state tried to even up the East vs west by making the Sandhills conference an eastern conferences I think that they will be a non player in who goes to the state championship out East. With places like Raleigh Durham and Wilmington booming and the areas around them growing as well I see schools like Cleveland and Clayton North Brunswick becoming more
Of an impact down the road than say a Richmond county. Plus By no means is this a shot at the places in the Sandhills but most people want to move to where there is opportunity and things to do with good services and the places mentioned in the Sandhills just don’t have that Look what has happened to Anson county. A 4A school not that long ago it’s what a 2A school now. Scotland was also a 4A and now is a 3A. How long will it be until Richmond County no longer plays on the states largest classification It is sad to see that has happened to that conference but other than Pinecrest the schools will
Continue to shrink and the talent pool will be shallower and the schools in and near major cities will be the ones growing and getting better talent. It’s just the way things are going.
That’s a good question I would like to know those admin numbers. What classification is Tabor? What are Richmond's Admin numbers? Looks like they're heading towards 3A.
4A...That’s a good question I would like to know those admin numbers. What classification is Tabor?

There simply isn't another conference that deep in the state...Nepsy! and others. This isn't a one year thing, this has been going on for many years. East Forsyth is the ring leader and I expect them to bring home the Championship.
That is a good conference but I will take the CPC year in and year out.havelock, new Bern, jh rose, jacksonville, dh conely not too bad of a conference either not best in the state but usually someone has been in the state championship game for the past decade every year just about
Richmond, as of last year’s ADM, is a fringe 4A team now. Would not surprise me within the next 10 years Richmond being large 3A.That’s a good question I would like to know those admin numbers. What classification is Tabor?
Don’t forget Hoke County being at the doorstep of Ft. Bragg. That’s a sleeping giant if the right coach gets ahold of it.Here is the problem with teams in the Sandhills. Thing is who wants to move to Hoke county. I mean if you live in one of the urban areas or will be thought to convince the wife to move thereDon’t forget Hoke County being at the doorstep of Ft. Bragg. That’s a sleeping giant if the right coach gets ahold of it.
I can agree with thatThat is a good conference but I will take the CPC year in and year out.
