NCAA sanctions are the only thing that could derail all the progress our program has made in 2 years under Dan Mullen. I realize all schools in the SEC cheat to some extent or another. But, our school must play its cards very close to the vest. Ole Miss was in a desperate situation and pulled out all the stops to do whatever necessary to get recruits to sign with them this year.It won't make a damned bit of difference next November in the battle for the Golden Egg. Whip that black bear arse for the 3rd straight year and don't look back. Did Mullen get schooled this time around in the illegal tactics of recruitin' in Mississippi? Yes. He will learn how to play the game a bit smarter. Once again though, we cannot play tit for tat or the SEC will come down on us like a ton of bricks. What happened in Mississippi this year doesn't pass the smell test, and folks around the region if not the entire country know what is going down. If the NCAA is looking for someone to punish for AU's transgressions, let it be Old Miss, not Mississippi State. The Dogs will march on next year, and if they do as well as I expect, recruiting will take care of itself this time next year. </p>
