He talked about Dylan Favre, Tim Tebow, and shaving his head if we go to Atlanta....that's it in a nutshell.

She asked him about Brett Favre and about similarities with Dillon. He said that when Dillon walks on the field has a thing about him that he is just a competitor.

Mentioned Relf and Russel by name and said that they were all taking equal reps and that they were trying to develop all 3.

Said that his goal for the season was to end up in Atlanta and then joked about the difficulty of our schedule. He then said that he wanted to see improvement and that improvement from last season should make us bowl eligible.

He was asked about Tebow and he said that he thought he would be successful because he has the "it" factor and just knows how to win. Talked about Tebow's haircut and Mullen said that the team could mohawk him if we get to Atlanta.

He also talked about cowbells.

Favre is a winner, and he is good natured when talking about his Uncle.

Cowbells are a great tradition, and sound better than vuvuzelas.

Tebow is a winner, who has the "It" factor, and is such a great team player that the Friar Tuck do didnt' bother him.

Mullen's goal is to win the SEC, and he would go with the Friar Tuck do if it would help the team get there.

Boring, really, but maybe a little interesting to people who are not so familiar with the program.

For once, we have a Head Coach that is interesting during interviews, actually answers the questions, and is good in front of a camera. Mullen represents us well.

After reading the comments above, I expected a boring, one-sentence coach-speak blurb, but thankfully I watched anyway.

I thought he did a great job. All that may not be new information to us, but it's good for the rest of the nation to see. It's all about the positive impression Mullen gives the world about the school and team, and the good pub that we're getting. Overall, that segment was a big win for M-State.

Damn, people, what more did you expect coming off our recent history?

The quality was more than fine. At least you didn't film the segment with a camera while watching tv.

I hope they can bring that out in the Dan Mullen Show this year. The format of that thing needs to change. They need to stop recording it right after the game for Jack's sake and do it the next day so Dan can comment on the highlights. Let Dan guide the show instead of the other guy. Let Dan's personality shine. The show has always made our coaches seem to be "bumps on a log".

you usually get beat on. The show sucks in its current form. Has for quite awhile.

It is not as important as it used to be because most of the games are on TV now, but it should still be done in a professional first class manner. It is usually pretty amateurish.

Jack is WAY, WAY, WAYpast his prime. And he has a face made for radio. Having him host the coach's show is a guaranteed disaster. Matt, on the other hand, would be perfect for the job. He's young (at least to me), has a great personality and way of connecting with TV viewers, and is upbeat and enthusiastic. All of which should make him the man for the job.

who actually gave up the ghost while calling a game? Something to think about.
