it only makes sense to strive for greatness even if it means it'll be short lived. It doesn't make sense to want someone to only be good at best when they could instead compete to be the best. But to be honest, if he's able to get us to the SECCG and the BCSCG...I really don't see why he would leave us for Penn State when he's able to achieve championship seasons here. That's just me...

I knew he was born in Pennsylvania, but he wasn't raised there. I never really thought he'd jump ship just because of that. Who knows though... just gotta wait till it happens..
If we are playing the ridiculous game... I would rather Mullen dominate the SEC while every team is on their complete A-game, except Bama and OM of course.
is that JoePa is basically just a figurehead now. They have coaches running the show who will be in a great position to take over forPaterno when heretires assuming they are still winning. IfMullen is waiting on that job he will probably be waiting at least 3 years past Paterno's retirement. I wouldn't be surprised if he winds up staying in Starkville until then or until Muschamp gets run out of Florida but I'd guess he will leave for another big opening before either of those things happen.
