Hey, I want to pass for 300 yards and score 50 points every week also. But the fact of the matter is that we are 6-2 and we are playing with the talent, or lack there of, that we have. I don't think we are good enough to start complaining about not winning in a way that looks good on Sportscenter.

if the game is pretty. We won. We seem to be continuing to win. I don't give a damn how it looks.

UAB is a good team. Not the best team in the world or anything, but a solid non-conference team. I think they proved that at Tennessee. No matter how down UT is you don't come into Neyland and push them around without being pretty good.

Classic trap game and we play flat non conference also. It's just Mullen's second year and we are bowl eligible. Enjoy the win and see if we play with a little more intensity next week. If we come out for Kentucky like we did tonight, then I'll join you.

if you are going to pass, put Russell in. Relf if he is on, is ok but if he is off he can't hit the broad side of a 17'ing BARN! When RELF is off, put RUSSELL in for pass plays or don't pass at all. RELF could not even hit a wide open running back 5 yards away.

He will play if Relf is hurt, or if the outcome of the game is already decided. With that being the case, he may not play another snap this season.

Relf is off DON'T 17'ing pass the ball. Run it every down. I don't have a problem not bringing Russell in, what I am saying is DON'T PASS the 17'ING BALL IF RELF is having an off night.

Offense was not our problem tonight. Our D played badly. However, I agree that our O could have done better with a few more accurate passes....we could have laid 40+ on them. We had no turnovers...that's huge.

All the love this board has for russell. He has not impressed me one bit. When he plays it's a guaranteed 2 interceptions. And except for the last game he played, he wouldint keep the ball on the options and the defense knew it. If russell comes in and throws an interception tonight, we lose. Period. Dan said it best at the halftime interview. No one was playing well and it starts with coaching. He knows it. He will correct it. He;s the coach and with these kids day in and day out. I will leave it up to him to decide what plays best fit our personnel.

this is a good team, legit QB, O-line, running backs and receivers. Defense rather average but overall looked very well coached. We were without our best running back and we have lost two defensive ends this season. In the past we would have been blown out in a game like this. We will play a better all around game against KY when we get Brignone and Ballard back for a full game.

We had a lot of offensive breakdowns in both games, but at least we took care of the football and won the games.

, and a couple other of the games where he had time in the pocket to throw the ball and completed passes. I do not have a problem with not playing him the entire game. The problem I have is when RELF is off, and can't hit the broad side of a barn, DO NOT LET HIM PASS. RUN THE DAMN BALL EVERY PLAY. I would rather run the ball, and run the clock than to throw an in-complete pass and stop the clock. Relf was definately off tonight. He missed wide open recievers, wide open backs coming out of the back field, and the option was not working either. The game was just bad, offensive line did not block well half the time. HELL even MULLEN said this is NOT MISSISSIPPI STATE FOOTBALL. THE TEAM AS A WHOLE DID NOT PLAY WELL.
