Coach Mullen was roaming the halls of my alma mater, Memphis University School, today. It's gettin serious over there.

This kid seems to have some demons pulling on him in several directions. He really wants to get out of town and away from home. However, moma wants him close by. Why would someone go to Louisville right now...especially an offensive player. This doesnt make sense...hence he really must be struggling with the getting a way from home. I hate it for the kid...

relative to Memphis. Don't know how far he's wanting to go but Starkville is a good 2+ hours from Memphis. In fact, I doubt Louisville is that much further away.
<p style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal">You do realize that Brunetti has been committed to WVU for months and although Cam (I can't get away from this guy) wasn't committed to MSU there was a lot of speculation that we were the frontrunner the whole time, then Cam decides to go off to AU for a weekend visit where he eventually commits.
Parallel situation: Brunetti has been committed to WVU for a long time, then he decides to visit MSU and now we are hearing we may land him.
I'm not going to throw a 3rd team in there (OU was never a serious contender with Cam and UL doesn't make any sense at all for Brunetti), but this is how it looks to me b/c until very recently Brunetti has been saying WVU all along.</p>

was quite that far but the point remains that a 2.5 hour trip is not exactly "in town". Certainly though its not far enough away if you NEVER want the parents coming around.
all i'm sayin is that i got a call from some people this afternoon that mullen was at MUS. i'm not sayin anything other than that. nor have i heard anything more concrete than that. i went to high school there back in the early ninties and still have friends that work there. thats all. just thought you guys would like to know where our head coach was spending his time.
