Talking with qb Wes Windham. Probably 6'2"-6'3". I only went to 1 game for 1 quarter this year though, so no idea what he's like. Anyone got any info? I know his parents are big MSU people.

Just a junior. Ocean Springs went 9-2 primarily because of Wes. Led several wins in 4th quarter. He's easily 6'4" big frame. He ran for about as many TD as he threw. They run very similar offense as State. Lots of read option, but he has a really good arm. He is also a good baseball player. His family are huge MSU people. Season ticket holders. He will start to pick up some steam as a top QB in state next year, but if he is offered he will commit 2 secs after getting offer. He also has a younger brother who QB's 8th grade team who went undefeated.

I know his parents, and my sister goes to school with him, but like I said didn't get to see much this year. I agree about him committing if an offer is on the table.

On the 8th grade team, OS middle school has always dominated, primarily because all other school districts have multiple middle schools and we have 1. Once they combined in high school, they would kick our *** until the last 2 years I was in school there. Then we actually had guys who got offered more than MGCCC and a coach.

I believe he was a State fan his entire childhood. So, he's a good TE, I take it?

hell, he may not even get offered, but I think this kid has a little more sense than CJ and a little more connection to MSU. I believe his grandfather played here. I know, I know, Chris Garrett. But I would consider choosing LSU too.

He doesn't need the money either. Can't answer for the swallowers. That may be hard for him to pass up.
