and seems like he's offering a new WR/Return guy every day. We just got on Damien Thigpen, a 4* recruit from Virginia that has been committed to UT since April but is now looking around. He will visit UCLA, Notre Dame and State before deciding. He supposedly ran a sub-4.4 at the Army AA Junior Combine last year. His dad played at Southern and he lived in Mississippi when he was younger if you're looking for a connection.

"We're just going to decide as a family what's the best thing for all parties," the elder Thigpen said. "We're not into holding people hostage. I don't think that's proper for a 17-year old to think he's a lot bigger than he really is. We're going to give each program an opportunity to say what they have to say.

"He needs to be in a place where he's going to be nurtured and treated with respect, and where he's going to be a student athlete

Unfortunately it is for that reason I don't think we get the kid. You have a choice between a degree from ND, UCLA, and State and a father who's first priority is to make sure his son gets an education. Not hard to see what I would do.

this is the eighth fastest electronic time in the nation this year. He also ran a 4.34 40 for rivals.

3.05 is good, but not necessarily great. 1420 is very impressive for anyone, especially a football player. i agree with you about the prestige of a degree from ucla or nd, but he wants to play football too, and being from tenn, the sec will be very attractive.

while we may not be harvard, we're certainly not ITT Tech.

I refuse to be impressed until I find out what he made on the English portion of the ACT.
