Not that Im condoning our lackadaisical play but my response would be: 17 off, it's hard to get excited to play the likes of Troy State.
Look at their roster, look at some of their former players
Demarcus Ware, Osi Uminura (sp) I think. Anyway they do have talent. They did play physical. We are not a bad football team. We were not mentally prepared. They can get any player with a pulse in school and there are tons of kids who cant get in SEC schools who deserve to play there. So, yeah I believe they were physical. They were ready for us, but we were mentally unprepared. We gashed them at times. If you know anything about football you have to figure out what works, we did. We were WIDE OPEN all night (so were they). For some reason I feel like we were trying some different groupings and coverages to prepare for spread teams we are about to play. It is not time to panic.
