Q: Practice today, your thoughts?

A: I was happy about the student season tickets, that was kind of going through my mind a lot. Real pleased with the effort our students gave to get out and the excitement they’re showing for the season to start.

Q: How valuable is Charles Mitchell back there?

A: He’s huge. Great leader for us on the field and a great leader in the community for us. You just see, to me, the biggest thing to me, the students, all the tickets that are being sold right now. That’s a tribute to all the character of the kids and what they’re bringing to the community, and the fans are responding to them.[
