Mullen was in New hope today talking to OL Jonathan Guerry who has been a soft verbal commit to Southern Miss. Guerry has expressed plenty of interest in MSU although Croom and co. never gave him a single phone call. Guerry has good size and is a smart kid from a good family and we would be great to have him if things work out in the interest of both parties. Mullen visited Jonathan and followed up with a phone call after the visit.

Croom obviously knew that he needed to sign OL in this class and he currently has only 2 commits. Gabriel Jackson from Liberty, MS and Sam Watts from Mayberry. Way to protect your future in Russell, Croom.
