Who the hell is he fooling? We all know that Relf is the man next year. If I was Relf, I would be pissed off....

I would imagine it is simply to keep Relf motivated. He has consistently stated that his program is all about competition.

reach the top you have to have a culture where individuals believe they can reach their goals if they work hard and perform. I love the fact that Dan has brought that culture to MSU and I don't think it is coachspeak, he is serious.

Most players are one compliment away from getting the big head and then getting lazy and then doing something stupid. Hell, Relf blew up during Christmas break when he didn't have coaches breathing down his neck. Granted he played well against Meechigan, but they could have been the worst team we played all year. <div>
