I think the best SEC state's to recruit, in order are:
1. Florida (obviously)
2. Georgia
3. Louisiana
4. Alabama
5. Mississippi
6. South Carolina
7. Arkansas
8. Tennessee/Kentucky
Florida, Georgia, and Louisiana in particular all have more quality talent than the top in state schools can sign in a given year. Alabama will have some, but for the most part Auburn and Bama will have room for the majority of the SEC caliber talent in the state.
That's why I've always wanted our coaches to go to Florida, Georgia, and Lousiana for players when they go out of state. Of course Texas is always a good place to go as well, though it can be tougher to get those players since they grow up on Big 12 football.
